TERI FALINI is a 4-member outfit from San Francisco. Since 2004 they have
released a debut full-length, played 70 shows up and down the left coast,
received airplay on at least 130 college radio stations as well as
scattered commercial play.
They garnered critical praise from pundits alike, and after months of
performing have come to be known as a band with an explosive live show.
Their debut album, "Sun Under Me" was named in February by the Emory Wheel
(of Emory University) as one of the best unheralded releases of 2005.
The band recently performed as part of NOISEPOP 2006, an annual gathering
in San Francisco of the best indie-rock-pop "whatever you want to call it"
bands in the country, as well as part of Bagel Radio's California Homegrown
Music Series.
"SUN UNDER ME is a collection of songs that gives vent to both Falini's
anger and joy. The inspiration that life took from Falini , it has
replaced tenfold." The San Francisco Chronicle
"Her vocals are haunting sometimes. Often times she sounds hoarse and
dingey. It works, especially with what she's trying to accomplish. When
she doesn't seem to be channeling the late Kurt Cobain, I hear Catherine
Wheel mixed with the slower tunes of Veruca Salt. There's a lot of power
behind these songs, and often she finds herself pushing the envelope.
Where most female musicians fronting bands seem to be mock-divas, Teri
Falini reminds me of bands like Bikini Kill and The Donnas before signing
to a major label."

The band is releasing their 2nd full length, "The Room", January 9th, 2007.
